Hi Dylan, I liked your answers from last time. I didn’t realize I was dealing with another video game designer. That is what Jared would like to do too.
1. Today I would like you to do the learning styles inventory. The link is in my folder. You may have started it last time. When you are finished you can answer the following questions: What type of learner were you? Does that make sense for you when you think about it? Do you think that knowing what style you are helps you to do well in school and/or study for tests?

You really should like video games. Someone with good problem solving skills. Finally they are looking for someone who can do things in a timely manner.

I think its a good video game when it has lots of levels, you can get checkpoints, games that have action, and when your at the bosses I like when they have life to collect around the area that you fight the boss.

Hi Dylan,
We have not been on the site for a while, but today I am going to get you to do something totally new.
1. I have two videos for you to watch. Go to the student video page and watch video #9-38 facial expressions in 1 minute and video #11-Mrs. Smart’s Facial Expression Video.
2. I would like you to attempt a video of your own. You will need to find some people to make some facial expressions for you. I would hit up Mrs. Decker and some of the other staff in the building. You could get students as well, as long as you are not interrupting them while they are in class.
3. Perhaps you and Mrs. Decker could brainstorm for a list of facial expressions- probably 8-10 is lots, but feel free to do more if you like. Try to think of ones that are are harder than “happy” or “sad”.
4. Grab a digital camera and get your pictures first.
5. Make your video. I used the program animoto.com to make my video and I really like it because it is really easy to use, you do not have to use much dialogue and you have lots of choices for music to use for your background. It does all the work for you and it is easy to upload it to Youtube. When you get to that point, I will give you my user name and password because I pay for a subscription that does not limit the length of the videos.

Hi Dylan, I need you and Jared to let me know where your facial expressions video ended up. For today, you can watch the video under student videos called “My Crazy Life”. I don’t think that you already watched it. It will be better if you use a set of head phones. Have a great weekend!
